When The University of Manitoba wanted to deploy 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6) at the University of Manitoba Fort Garry campus and Bannatyne campus classrooms and lecture theatres, they turned to Tri-Star Technical Ltd..  After collaborating with the University of Manitoba Information Services and Technology to develop capacity requirements for their high density environments, Tri-Star Technical used the planning tools in the Ekahau Pro software to generate simulations that met or exceeded the defined room requirements.  Using the simulation data, Tri-Star also generated documentation to facilitate the project tender process.

Tri-Star Technical has been providing service to The University of Manitoba for over 23 years, providing connectivity solutions for voice, data, data center, Wi-Fi, video, CCTV and automation systems.  Working with The University of Manitoba, Tri-Star Technical Ltd. has deployed copper and fibre optic solutions at both campuses and the Smart Park Innovation Hub, and is the sole provider for their fiber optic infrastructure throughout their campus environments.
